Travels to begin soon!

I will be departing St. Louis soon as I begin my month long sabbatical on September 1. The first trek will be to central Texas. While there I will be attending a family reunion. As part of the reunion festivities I will have the opportunity to play a short recital on the organ at Palm Valley Lutheran Church. The instrument is small and in the process of being upgraded, but it will still be a treat to play at this venue as several generations of my paternal ancestors have been members of this congregation since it's inception. My great-grandfather helped erect the steeple on the church when it was built. Many of my relatives who will be in attendance that day have probably never even heard me play and others have not heard me in quite some time since I have spent my entire adult life outside of Texas in such places as Pennsylvania, Illinois, Virginia and now Missouri.
